DETAiLFILM is a German film production company based Berlin. It focuses on international co-productions and high-class entertainment with meaningful insights into our contemporary lives. Films by DETAiLFILM have been screened and awarded at festivals like Cannes, Berlinale, and many more.

FABIAN GASMIA

Managing Director

Fabian Gasmia, born in Hamburg, studied production at Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen Potsdam-Babelsberg (now Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf). He founded DETAiLFILM together with Henning Kamm, whom he met at the post-graduate program for international film production Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris. His most recent venture is the production company Seven Elephants, which he founded together with German directors Julia von Heinz, David Wnendt and Erik Schmitt.

In 2016, Fabian Gasmia was elected as vice-president of the board of the French-German Film Academy. He used to be a member of the ACE board and is currently a member of the board of trustees of the dffb (film school Berlin).

Fabian Gasmia also regularly teaches at film schools (Film Academy Ludwigsburg, dffb, Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris) and is a frequent guest and speaker at international conferences and panels.

KATJA LEBEDJEWA

Finance & Administration

Katja Lebedjewa, born in Berlin, majored in Business Communication Management before attending the post-graduate program Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris. Having worked her way up through the production department, she soon specialized in Finance & Administration. Before joining DETAiLFILM as Chief Financial Officer in 2016, she gained broad production administration experience in the international sector.

JANA FRÜH
Assistant to Line Producer

Jana discovered her love for film at around 10 years old through her father's old video camera and self-made music videos with friends – dancing to Britney Spears songs, of course. She studied journalism in Bremen, and, after adding a Master’s Degree in Producing Film and Television from Royal Holloways University of London, she went on to work as a production manager in the documentary sector, mostly producing films for the German Public Broadcaster ARD. In search of new challenges, she decided to follow her fascination for cinema and switch to feature film production at the beginning of 2021.
